Below are greetings in Shifinagh to all our friends. I present the greetings 3 times to demonstrate 3 different methods for displaying Shifinagh fonts in webpages.
Greeting #1 is not styled, so it does not appear in a special font. Rather it will be rendered by your browser with some standard Unicode font already installed on your computer. Consequently some Shifinagh characters will not display correctly. Unfortunately, this is also what Shifinagh will look like on most social media platforms like Facebook, because they do not allow styling of text.

Greeting #2 is styled with a special Web Open Font Format (.woff) font installed on the Tamajaq.com website, so most of you should be able to see the Shifinagh rendered correctly, especially if your browser is an updated version of Firefox or Google Chrome. The best thing about this font method is that people using mobile devices should also be able to see the Shifinagh correctly rendered.

Greeting #3 is styled with the Tagmukay TrueType font. You will only be able to see the Shifinagh rendered correctly if you have the Tagmukay font installed on your computer. But you will not be able to see the Shifinagh correctly on a mobile phone or other mobile device.

You may think that the method shown in Greeting #2 is best because you don’t have to download anything to read it. However, sooner or later you will not only want to read but also to write in Shifinagh. To type in Shifinagh, even just to make a greeting like the one in Greeting #2, you will still need to have the Tagmukay font installed on your computer.
